Is Michelle divorcing Obama?

The former First Lady opened up about what life has looked like for her since she and husband Barack Obama left the White House back in 2017. Contending with her newfound sense of personal freedom, she addressed how her lifestyle change has affected the public’s perception of her marriage. She went on to explain how, in the past, she prioritized other people’s needs before her own. “I had to make sure the girls were okay, or my husband was president, so I can’t do that,” she recalled.

“Now, it’s the first time in my life all of my choices are for me,” Michelle said. "Now that I am making a choice for myself, people had to assume that my husband and I are divorcing.”

What choice? The choice to get divorced? She never answered the question. We still don't know? I shouldn't care, but the media talks about it so much that now, I'm curious.

It doesn't really have anything to do with her being a woman or what "society expects of a woman." You behaved one way for several years, and then when you no longer behaved that way, people questioned it. That's how socializing works, dude. You'd think a former first lady would give some deeper thought instead of harping on about some supposed misogyny.

I hope they're able to reconcile I hope the divorce is merely the media frenzy but I hope they both find happiness and life I never supported them politically they have different positions but Barack Obama set a wonderful example as a president even though I did not agree with his policies.

You do have a low regard for black men as husbands and fathers, don't you? When was the last time you ate collard greens?

I used to work at Job corps and the majority of all of the students had a broken family I would say only about 5% had an intact family.

Job corps? This program has been a waste of taxpayers' money and showed no beneficial training outcomes. Private contractors who operate and service Job Corps centers has been siphoning the $1.7 billion annual allocation by Congress. You worked at Job Corps?

The Job corps concept is good. I know a guy who benefited from the program. He is super smart with computers, works out of his home, and responsive to customer needs. I would rather use him than going to Best Buy tech support.

So, what's happening at Job corps? It's better for kids learning a trade than joining the military and get shot up in war zones.

@sree251 the problem is most of the contractors are just wanting the numbers so they get the money. They don't really care about the students. If a student really wants to go there and get a good education they're able to unfortunately most of the students nickname Job corps as the country club their goal is to go in there 16 17 and stay till they age out at 25 why because I get a little bit of money they have a place to live free food some of them are running a hustle. Some try to sell drugs. And some are more there just for sex. Now if you got rid of all of the privately run contractors you would solve half the problems. The job corps that are run by the Forester department are really good. What was crazy I was in charge as director of safety security and transportation. The number of STDs including AIDS going around through there is astronomical and the problem nobody can be worn who has AIDS because of HIPAA and they're allowed to stay and do their promiscuity infecting others who then have a lifetime disease. And there's a whole lot more BS that goes on that actually hurts the students.

Sounds like Job corps is as bad as Congress. In either case, the concept is good but the lowlives in both cases are wrecking it for everyone.
Were you a kid in training at Job corps or a contractor getting the money?

@sree251 I work for two different contractors over the course of 3 years I thought it would get better with the next one took over. I told them where the problems were what was going on and I did not care so I started looking for another job.

What are the contractors for? Are they supposed to provide training courses for the students or what? Were you a trainer working for the contractors? Sorry for the questions. I am curious and want to know how Job corps were implemented. As I said, Job corps has a good concept. Disadvantaged kids needs a leg up to get them out of a rut.

If I had the power, I would draft them all into the military to move black kids out of the inner cities and white kids out of the redneck/hillbilly ruts (where JD Vance grew up). The US has to stop fighting wars. A warfighting military would train kids to become killers besides giving them skills in useful trades. It's would be worse than letting them become gangsters and drug addicts.

@sree251 currently the contractors were in the entire center the only thing they get is the annual review by the department of Labor
