If Speaker Mike Johnson Truly Believes That the Entire Rest of the Year Is Only "One Day", Then He Should Only Take the Equivalant of One Day's Pay.

Johnson passed a rule that says the rest of the year shall only count as one calendar day to prevent the House from rejecting Trump's imposition of a national emergency.

Might add this was three weeks ago. Or 21 days ago. And has little to do with today's vote.

Problem as I see it is Trump is likely to veto today's minor victory.

They'll have to pull a different rabbit out of their hat when he does veto it.
