I figured that for a long time, America's Nazis were going to keep distancing themselves from the original Nazis. Ya know, continue with the narrative that the Nazis were actually on the Left because they had "big government," silly lies like that. Even the AfD distances themselves from the NSDAP, they pretend the Nazis were Communists. But it looks like the Right has become so extreme, that now Republicans are able to go mask-off. They can just be like, do you guys know who Joseph Goebbels was? He was a top Nazi. Yeah, we want to do what he did.
So yeah, like I said, the rich used to pay a lot more in taxes, even with the loopholes. So we should raise their taxes to how it was in the fifties, which was my original take.

It was mostly Republicans, as it was over the course of decades. Well into the Bush years, they were still lowering taxes for the rich. And some of the biggest cuts were under Reagan.
But see, this is what you can't understand, because you're in a cult, and think everyone else is too. I don't stan the Democrats. There are plenty of conservative Democrats, especially at the local level, who also pass right-wing bills. Gavin Newsom and Eric Adams are only the most visible examples. The fact that some Democrats also lowered taxes for the rich isn't a gotcha. If anything, it confirms another point I've made, that the Right has pulled the Overton Window further and further Right. This is yet another problem of Capitalism.
So here's the problem. They've engaged in so much Nazi-like behavior that their own base tunes it out, and anyone pointing it out is viewed as annoying and a snowflake. This is intentional. They have figured out that if they bombard us with enough Nazi quotes and sentiments, the left will be viewed as deranged alarmists when we keep pointing it out. That is the plan. The next step of the plan is to implement actual legislature based on Nazi Germany, and they are counting on the first part of their plan working so well that no one will believe us.
You have oligarchs who run the media and the weapons industry, who also serve in your government. The situation is fascism. The population is responsible.
