That is the only reason why they would burn it to the ground and start over. You have to hate the country you are starting with to do that.

The Sovereign Individual and Network States are highly influential books on their thinking and they point a roadmap to a future that is post-democratic and post-nationalist; basically techno-libertarian feudalism. Elysium on Earth or a futuristic feudalist Italy.
Trump's proposed 'Freedom Cities' are a step towards this. Peter Thiel and others have supported this process for a long time.
Obviously, this objective is completely contradictory to the Christian nationalism of the MAGA base, as Steve Bannon has recently realised. However, the tech oligarchs need MAGA footsoldiers right now and MAGA benefits in the short term from the oligarch's tech platforms and money.

It seems (other than ultimate loyalty to the draft dodging wannabe dictator traitor) that tRUMP was selecting the least qualified candidates in all of MAGA land. This group of misfits could not have been randomly chosen—tRUMP was actively selecting the worst available choices.
