The hardcore maga crowd will enjoy ANYthing trump says or does, even if they have to suffer for it.
MOST people wake up when a situation hits their wallets but not them. They worship trump in the same way some people worship Jesus.
In fact, I would say maga people are probably more forgiving of trump than churchy people are of Jesus.

Presidential policies raising prices of vehicles is not a new thing. Throw in a few union strikes and that adds to it too as no car company is going to lower profits.
Biden and Obama both made prices of Trucks and SUV's go up drastically during and after their terms. Somehow Obama thought he could legally require trucks and SUV's to get over 50mpg which simply is not possible for a 8 or 10 cylinder. Biden increased those standards hoping to stimulate EV development.
They ordered the EPA to raise the average MPG for new vehicles sold, which resulted in the car companies in building less Trucks and SUV's to meet the legally required goal for averages.
That then reduced supply, despite such huge popularity as demand stayed up. Lower supply drives the prices sky high, which Democrats don't seem to mind at all as it mostly affects red states and rural area's where those vehicles are required where as in cities they are more of a option for the rich.
If you ever lived rural, we call small cars speed bumps as they get stuck in the mud and can't tow anything.
Which resulted in a brand new Trucks and SUV's tripling in price since 2010, far above inflation.
