That's rather little indeed. That won't even put a dent in the damage they do.

@NerdyPotato Just adding another 20B to the already 2.5T in new investments in our economy since the announcement of the tariffs.

@LLcoolK Not really. They were already in the works. It takes years for businesses to make huge investment decisions like building new plants. I do the kind of analysis myself.
@LLcoolK a lot of that was invested in extra stock before the prices went up though, and those companies will be buying less for a few months while they still have enough. But of course Trump and his supporters only understand the short term effects, and when the long term plays out, it will somehow be Biden's fault again.
@NerdyPotato Trouble is that the rest of the world will be feeling that pain instead of America.
@HootyTheNightOwl nah, we'll share in the pain for sure, but so far the USA is feeling it more than any other country.
@NerdyPotato Maybe check out the budget Rachel Reeves announced today???
They came for the disabled... 😡😡😡

@HootyTheNightOwl due to the tariffs? 🤨 That doesn't make much sense... Politicians who go after the disabled usually consider those a waste of money from the start. That's rarely a move to cut costs out of absolute necessity arising from tax income dropping by a few tenths of a percent at most.
Perhaps she used the tariffs as an excuse to do what she wanted to do all along, but that's about as far as I can see the connection go.
