What’s also frustrating is that there’s so much for us to be tearing Trump and his MAGA cult apart for.

Bad economy, broken campaign promises, heavily influenced by billionaires, Trump being totally batshit insane.

The democrats aren’t making use of any of this. They may as well not exist.

@Riemelt Exactly. It’s all just a big act. They’re always too busy trying to be civil or balanced to actually fight back. Right now, it’s about who's got the loudest voice and who can make the most noise.

@Eglectic Dems have decided tRump is really going to mess things up and there is nothing they can do about it. The American People have selected him, nothing to do with Dems at all. It's all a rolling Donkey show.
This is a good example of "If you have something you are not completely happy with, consider the alternative". That is what you have right now. The opposite of everything.. Sane to Insane.

A shut down will only benefit Trump. Dems would eventually need to cave, and get the blame. I agree with Schumer.

@Eglectic Trump’s approval slipping, markets down; a shut down stops that momentum because Dems will be to blame. People will ask how come Dems are not okay with DOGE but ok with a shut down.

@Bumbles So, we just roll over? Let them pass a bill that slashes non-defense spending by $13 billion while increasing defense by $6 billion?

@Eglectic A vote to move forward with the G.O.P.-written measure, which would fund the government through Sept. 30, was expected early Friday afternoon.

What bill are you referring to? I’m just seeing a continuing funding bill.
