Boeing is struggling, airbus consortium relies on cooperation in Europe becoming more nationalistic. Bombardier is the firm Boeing were always afraid of.

@meJess Struggling is an understatement!!
If you haven’t already checked NATO countries are starting to build their own weapons systems and they funding them with their own money, resources, their expertise, and workers. They won’t be so eager to big volume business again.
You have stop and think 65% or more were built by American corporations and they employ a lot of smartest of workers in the field of weapons systems manufacturing.
So once again we are flirting the possibilities of unemployment.

@Briggett And who will they sell to if the US doesnt want to buy... I think we all realise Trump is doing the US massive damage at the moment, and sadly the western world, and I think he will succeed in dragging down Europe with him, and Mexico and Canada. The BRICS will have their day, and it is of course India, the real home of circket and tea and musicals and gin and tonics, that will inherit whatever is left of the world - which no one seems to be seeing at the moment because its hidden in plain sight - the best place to hide anything

@meJess Not sure about that. Presumably airbus willhave massive tariffs put on it to protect Boeing and will be competing with supe rlow cost Chinese competitors in the east so supporting hte European miliray might be its safest strategy. That is where the logic of Trumps tariffs leads us.
