I think he should get back on the heroin. It seems to have done wonders for him 🙄

@Elisbch If tRUMP wants to put Brainworm in charge of healthy French fries, I am Ok with that I guess, but keep a close eye on him at the very least he’s a public nuisance, but he’s shown he is an unmitigated disaster as the lead of HHS!
Get him OUT before he does even more damage!

I hate to say this but with all the cuts they've done with NIH and World Health Organization and usaid, I got a bad feeling we're going to have another really nasty pandemic and more will die than the 1.2 million that died in this country alone for covid. And the same numb nuts is in office now that allowed that 1.2 million to die

@Elisbch @Elisbch [/b]White House pulls nomination of Dave Weldon as CDC director hours before hearing[/b]
WASHINGTON —The Trump administration is withdrawing the nomination of Dave Weldon as its pick to run the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, according to two sources familiar with the decision. The former Florida lawmaker was set to appear before the Senate health committee on Thursday morning.
The sources said the administration had concerns about Weldon’s longtime vaccine criticism.
Weldon has promoted anti-vaccine theories for decades, according to a STAT review of his congressional record. He held fast to the belief that vaccines caused autism, even though science has since debunked that theory. In 2007, he introduced a bill to ban thimerosal from vaccines based on a perceived link to autism. Thimerosal was removed from all childhood vaccines in the U.S. in 2001.

@Elisbch I share your very realistic fears.
What hasn’t made the headlines is the devastating effects RFK, Jr is already having on vaccine research (and all medical research), our world wide disease surveillance which is a 24/7/365 effort, and so much more.

Exactly! It was my understanding that some of the USAID funds were also tied to the research and warnings of possible outbreaks and new infections. I could be wrong about that but i thought I heard that somewhere.
I wonder why Rumpman would stop even a worse guy, Weldon from heading the CDC. I mean that kind of ruins his streak for complete murderers in all positions.
I was really hoping that when he got covid it would kill him then. This guy just seems to defy Karma. Karma needs to work harder, much harder

@KunsanVeteran no the longer he stays the more he’s going to show us what he’s really capable exposing himself and those around him for letting him stay on so far.
Yes it painfully but it needs to run its course.
