A Washington State school district under investigation for a violation of the executive order banning trans boys from playing girls sports

Trump admin probing school district for trans athlete scandal even after changing policy to follow exec order

The U.S. Department of Education on Monday opened a Title IX investigation into the Tumwater School District (TSD) in Washington state over a widely publicized incident involving a girl being allegedly punished for refusing to play a basketball game against a trans athlete.

A civil rights complaint was filed with the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Civil Rights on behalf of female TSD student Frances Staudt. The incident became so widely publicized and controversial that the school district voted 3-1 last Thursday to ban trans athletes from girls' sports, defying the current state law that orders schools to enable trans inclusion.

It is one of the first incidents of a school district banning trans athletes from girls' sports, complying with President Donald Trump's "No Men in Women's Sports" executive order, while the state as a whole chooses to defy it.

A girl punished because she didn't want to play basketball against a boy, EVEN THOUGH THIS WAS OUTLAWED BY A PRESIDENTIAL EXECUTIVE ORDER.

If there's ANYONE here who DOESN'T have a problem with the TSD for doing this...

@whowasthatmaskedman So do we have common ground on believing males should not
play against females? Do you have granddaughters that play sports? I would hope that you
care more about them, than you do cross dressers.

@DogMan While I see nothing wrong with male V females in social sport. (Even Wimbledon has mixed doubles) Men and women are structurally different. Therefore competitive professional sports do need to take note...But it could be done, if all competitors were willing, with a handicapping system, such as it used for horse racing, with weights. Or by distance manipulation, while the womens tee in golf.. I have no in principle problem with my grandaughters playing netbll against a TG person of a full male..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman I have not heard of anyone willing to handicap the transwomen.

I could get behind that if it was done right, but I have a feeling some people would say that
it is not fair to trans women, after all, they say they are women. Period.

A handicap would rightfully show that they were different then biological women,
and many refuse to believe that there is a difference.

@DogMan It has not been suggested or tried.. I am saying its possible. But social sport is not the issue professional elite sport is..In fact I dispute the term "sport" applied to someone earning millions of dollars a year playing a game..😷
