[Looks like] Zellenskiy says winning the Ukrainian war is necessary and possible as long as Europe and America are willing to spend themselves broke and die for their freedom because Obama and Biden, who basically taunted Putin into starting a war are getting their agreed to 10% kickbacks.

@SteelHands spending well under $200 billion in 3 years is far from going broke. Plus it was in arms and supplies produced in the US predominantly. The suspension of aid to them will hit our economy in a bad way besides the morality of it.

@DailyFlash You do realize that one and a half million people are dead, maimed, missing right? You do understand that Ukraine under the current president is now a dictatorship without elections and suppression of any speech or opinions counter to zelensky ryte?
And that Poland, who's got fewer square miles, ppl, minerals has triple the economy of Ukraine because it's not as corrupt.
You get all that don't you?

@SteelHands Russia invaded Ukraine, blame them not the invaded country. He is not a dictator. As with England during WWII, there are no elections during wartime under their constitution. He is doing what Churchill did. Putin is a dictator. So yeah I don't understand any of that because it's no true.
SteelHands · 61-69, M
@DailyFlash don't try that lie on me. He's no Churchill and Ukraine is no Great Britain.
Churchill formed a coalition war committee/govt. He didn't dress up like Mussolini and strut around as if he were leading men into the trenches.
Zellensky censored, jailed or did away with any opinion outside his own.

@SteelHands you mean like this?
SteelHands · 61-69, M
@DailyFlash That photograph is after 45 after he lost the postwar election. About when he was part of the home rebuilding program. Look at his age. This was before he was then re-elected again in 55.
You know you're wrong. Comparing Zellenskiey to one
of the top ten great men of the 20th century really shows you don't know much about either one of them.

@SteelHands https://foreignpolicy.com/2023/07/11/ukraine-democracy-wartime-elections-russia-zelensky/
"Ukraine is under martial law, with constant threat of Russian bombs and many of its people displaced. Postponing elections was not a function of any fear on Zelensky’s part, since his approval ratings have soared during wartime. A country under a full-scale invasion and occupation is simply in no position to vote."

@DailyFlash Nice bowler he's got on there. Is it iron? Lol

@DailyFlash Top one looks like a basic training camp visit. Second one, Berlin. Looks like after the partitioning.

@DailyFlash If you're going to post a link you should avoid posting propaganda from 3 years ago.

@SteelHands "If Russia had not invaded Ukraine in February 2022, Volodymyr Zelenskyy would have faced a re-election campaign in spring 2024. But after Vladimir Putin sent his troops across the border, the country quickly entered a state of martial law. That meant that both presidential and parliamentary elections were postponed. Donald Trump has escalated his attacks on Zelenskyy, calling the Ukrainian president “a dictator” in light of postponed elections."https://www.theguardian.com/world/2025/feb/20/ukraine-elections-start-of-war-volodymyr-zelenskyy

@DailyFlash is there a source that you wouldn't consider propaganda?
SteelHands · 61-69, M
@DailyFlash You already said You can believe whatever you want. Not that your permission is needed. Talk about something else.
Address the combined 1.5 million men from both sides dying. The families destroyed. The land scarred and burned.
An entire country reduced to. rubble and nearly 200 billion dollars spent, not to deter war, but to increase it.
Address thator something worthwhile.

@DailyFlash Yeah good idea we can call it the Treaty of Versailles 2.
Because the former soviet union wasn't in there from 45-83 and none of those houses or roads were built with Russian ruples, right?
Or wazitt.?

What would you like. More of no progress? More horror and hardship dragging on?
Because if that's what you want then you're the one that's hard to fathom.
