Socialism didn't fail because it contradicted human nature, there's almost no such fucking thing as Human nature
Almost ALL OF OUR BEHAVIOR IS LEARNED. The ONLY NATURAL Human behavior is the thirst to learn.
I'm so tired of that debate, I roll my eyes at this point whenever someone brings up human nature like Yeah Well HOW DO YOU KNOW?! Did you read it in a book? Was that Book peer reviewed, did it have to hold up to scruniity? Where are the Academic journals with peer-reviewed research from prestigious journals reporting on what our soo called nature is?
IF, as a Species, we were not soo incredibly close to being the Philosophical Tabala Rasa and so remarkably adaptable, we would have gone extinct. The fact that we are the apex predator is precisely because of how close to the tabula rasa we are.
To me, for example, to operate in a non-hierarchical peer to peer fashion like the technology I use is natural. You know why? Because I've learned that.
Human behavior is almost entirely a product of learning, It's no wonder Americans behave as such fierce competitors.
