Headline from Feb 17:
Hundreds of FAA employees are let go as Trump's mass layoffs continue
Nearly 300 Federal Aviation Administration employees were fired just weeks after a midair collision over Washington, D.C., killed 67 people.
Calling themselves the "Department of Government Efficiency" is a hilarious misnomer!!
Also, I wonder how long until they start trying to recall IRS auditors - people who more than earn their keep!!
Unpaid taxes – that's FRAUD!! And the tRump admin, by firing auditors, is making it HARDER to detect tax fraud!!!

... The US Internal Revenue Service (IRS) estimates that in the middle of the last decade, underreporting of income on individual income tax returns accounted for roughly $300 billion in unpaid taxes.
... For each audit, they calculate both the upfront revenue associated with the audit and also the deterrence effect that the audit has on future tax revenue paid by the person who is audited. The researchers find that the average upfront revenue per audit was $14,283, compared with an average cost, including exams, appeals, and collections, of $6,418. The average revenue yield was therefore $2.17 per dollar spent on audit resources.

Unfortunately they couldn't get it through a REPUBLICAN Congress.
I find it so ironic, that the funding must go through Congress. Yet our dictator can fire the whole lot of government workers for that funding.
There's no Congress in this government.
Just the dictator and his unelected regime.

So theyve let go fresh newly trained employees and want to replace them with retirees? And pay bonuses? Tell me how this makes sense.

Another brilliant Musk. You have never suggested it once while your crush Biden was in office.
