@Carla And do you see me defending them? I already said they should pay it back. You're the one jumping to the billionaire leftist's defense saying it's ok to take money from tax payers if they give it to charity. It's like Robinhood syndrome in reverse.
@BizSuitStacy no. Im saying it wasn't oprah that recieved that money. It was her charities. And ppp loans were given and forgiven to way too many people. And even though winfrey's name is on those charities, she doesn't operate them. Should those loans, all of them, be repayed? If you were loaned a couple of hundted thousand, were told that loan was forgiven, would you repay it?
@Carla Never had the opportunity, or perhaps I should say I never took advantage of them. I've borrowed money twice. Once for school, which I paid back in full well before the loan was due. The other was for my homes. Also paid off in full well before it was due.
@BizSuitStacy ive done the same. But...if i took out a loan and was told it was forgiven, i would happily except that. I feel certain you would as well.
@Carla cool...can't wait for the gov't to dangle a free million or two in front of my nose, earmarked for sexual reassignment surgeries on rodents in Tunisia.
