If not this sets a dangerous precedence, for although Musk is unlikely to succeed in such a claim in the USA or any European nation, it might not stop him trying.
He might also reflect he is showing himself internationally yet again just how cruel, ruthless and selfish he is.

The Chinese government also threatened English soccer team Arsenal after their German international Mesut Özil shared support of the Uighurs, a largely Muslim minority in the region of Xinjiang. Özil was subsequently dropped by Arsenal and disappeared from English football. He's now playing for İstanbul Başakşehir Futbol Kulübü in Turkey. It seems like Musk has learned a thing or two from Communist authoritarianism.

There are some 6000 American companies in China getting their products - all American brands - manufactured there for the US market. All my power tools (Milwaukee, Black & Decker, DeWalt, etc) work perfectly and they are all made in China.
