@emiliya The giving of anything. People can’t be rewarded for initiating a war. Anything they can take in an agreement will convince them they did the right thing and nothing will improve. People need consequences to learn.

@Reject It's not one sided. So, it needs to be stopped. It's just not Russia vs Ukraine. It's the cutoff of food supply, grains supply to the world.

@DanielsASJ It needs to be stopped and more importantly, it needs to not happen again. At least not anytime soon and you prevent that with consequence.

@Reject Ukraine is the losing side. This is what happens in war; the winner takes what they have won, and the loser has to make the most concessions. We can see Ukraine is not going to join NATO. Trump said on Ukraine: “they have to make peace.”

I see Trump using this as an opportunity to parade himself as the President who ended the war and he just may help Putin in that case, but you are wrong if you think that means victory for Russia. Propaganda will spell that out for you though convincing you it does and all those people will have died for nothing. It’s sad really.

@Reject If they reaped no rewards, they have died for nothing. They have not reaped any rewards. It attempted suicide for all the wrong reasons. Ukraine has lost men it cannot afford to lose. It has lost territory, and its economy has been devastated. Millions have left the country. There is a victor in almost every war. In every war, one of the parties will have the upper hand. This is why we go to war; to gain the upper hand.

You would be useless on the battlefield.

@Reject In any war, There is a calculation. These calculations are carried out each day. If side A attacks and Side B defends. Side A will attack till the time gifts of GAIN to be achieved by side A are far rewarding than THE LOSSES which it could possibly incur

In this situation, Russia can gain control of Rich mineral base, The Bread Basket of the World and not to mention, the renewed population of Ukraine which Russia has lost to a great extent.

A ruler exists only when the Nation exists. A nation exists till it's people exist. Russia is having its fertility rate in NEGATIVE meaning people there don't want to have kids anymore. People grow in numbers only when they are happy/proud of themselves. To it's shrinking population, Putin wants to gift a thing to feel proud about "The Victory" to its people. Russians will be happy. Ukrainians will mingle well with Russians.

Trump understands this but he does not want Russia to capture Ukraine's mineral belt. He is a good negotiator who will negotiate it to the profit of all three.

@DanielsASJ There are infinite excuses people make for war. Humankind has done this same song and dance since the beginning of our time. We never learn and that’s why it keeps happening. You have a lot of faith in Trump too. So much so I imagine he could fall flat on his face and you’d still defend that. So keep on keepin’ on with your idolization, but I’m not interested in it.

@DanielsASJ I understand that everyone fancies themselves a hero in their own story and I’m sure Putin in his mind couldn’t possibly be more justified in what he’s done with his people. My concern isn’t with that nonsense. It’s the human suffering that saddens me and what I wish would happen to prevent as much of it as possible. That’s all.
