A corporation or several corporations are puppet masters. Elections are bought, highest bidders are given positions of power in the government, the president can retaliate against citizens, officials who don't comply to unlawful requests are fired, revenge against law enforcement agents who investigated the J6 assault,
That's the kind of shit you see in 3rd world countries lol

Not really. If I remember rightly, banana Republic refers to an underdeveloped nation essentially run by a fruit/agricultural corporation acting as a semi dictatorship, the way United Fruit Company essentially ran a number of nations back in the last century.

@eMortal Probably not, but that was the origin. United Fruit's major import was bananas back when they were overthrowing governments (with the help of the US government).
