Not sure what point you're making. Sweden is in no way perfect but to suggest its gun crime rate is anywhere near that of the USA is ridiculous. As is the claim that Sweden does not publish crime stats.

@FreddieUK So you support Starmer? Says a lot about you.

@hippyjoe1955 why do you always come back with a totally irrelevant comment. You can't argue the point, it seems. Too funny.

@FreddieUK You didn't make a point. Care to try again? All you showed me is your lack of language skills.

@hippyjoe1955 I made the clear point that Sweden does indeed publish its crime stats and you can compare them to see that guns are allowed, and are misused but nowhere near the rate of the USA. So your opening post is wrong in its assertion. I realise you were being sarcastic, but on the basis of a mendacious inexactitude. My language skills I have no need to defend.

@FreddieUK Maybe if you went back and re read the thread and apportioned to each according to their own words. You missed my point entirely and I find that extremely funny. I was pointing out the humans remain human and do evil things to each other regardless of the political office or the bent of the leaders in such countries. There are innumerable numbers of socialist nutbars out there that think they can stop evil by electing socialists and when ever I ask for an example of a wonderful socialist state they always say Sweden. I am of the persuasion that it doesn't matter who you elect of why. Evil exists and we humans will never eliminate it. That said I truly feel sorry for the families who lost loved ones due to the evil of one such as the shooter. It would be so wonderful if we humans could learn how to stop killing each other.

@hippyjoe1955 Now you have spelt it out in plain terms,I can agree with you and am happy to do so. I too wish people could learn to respect others to the point they don't want to kill them.
