Hmmm .. Trudeau was in office the whole time up to now ... Tell me again when was it he brought the war to an end ?
Yeah at times Trump overpromises .. but realistically its only 3 weeks in. For a reasonable person, it would seem a bit early to throw in the towel on it.

@BrandNewMan Trudeau never claimed to end the war.

@JimboSaturn Grow up. No politician achieves every goal /promise. Trudeau included .. hence the end of his tenure. I gave you he can tend to overpromise .. so what do you want .. a cookie and "good boy" pat on the head for observing a fact?
He may utterly fail to end Ukraine's war .. but achieve many other things more central to life in the U.S. I'd take that over what was coming under Harris-Walz and be fine with the outcome and use of my vote.

@BrandNewMan I agree not all do achieve all their goals but they also are mature enough to not use childish hyperbole when promising something.
I don't want a "good boy" but I do want you to look a little more critically at what Trump says.

@JimboSaturn You are woefully wrongly assuming I don't. I live here, unlike you, and saw his flaws. I don't like everything he does, every position he takes. Have never done so with any politician.
I also saw the last 4 years under Biden-Harris and what was on the horizon under Harris-Walz. I voted for what I saw as the best of the two options presented. There were risks either way and since I have skin in the game here, I made my choice accordingly.
The opinions of people outside the U.S. were not never a consideration. It trends with how I don't try to tell you how to vote in Canada there, Jimbo.

@JimboSaturn Well today, Trump's bright idea is he is going to rebuild Gaza into some kind of paradise. Now HOW he plans on doing that, who knows.
He will come up with some other brilliant BS by Friday. Probably turn Antarctica into a summer vaca destination and declare it the 52nd state. 🙄He just gets these far-fetched impossible ideas and the MAGAts cheer.
@BrandNewMan
Some Americans bring up stuff like that when Canadians chime in about American politics. It would be a good argument IF the jack4ssholery going on in Washington didn't affect other nations.
