USAID is Democrat Dark Money, and they are HOWLING that DOGE is saving the taxpayers a billion dollars a day.

Let me count the ways:

https://www.foxnews.com/video/6368281606112

$20 million for Iraqi Sesame Street
$2 million for Moroccan Pottery classes
$11 million to tell Vietnam to stop burning trash
$27 million to give gift bags to illegals before we deport them
Millions to help Afghanis grow crops instead of opium. As a result opium production has skyrocketed
$300 million to Afghanis to build diesel fuel power plants, which they can't use because diesel is too expensive
$200 million on a dam that was too unsafe to be used
$250 million to build a road that cannot be used. It is actually a road that goes nowhere
$9 million to Syrians for humanitarian aid, but someone messed up and that money went to Al Qaeda
$1 million for bat research in Wuhan
Funding Fashion Week in Paris. (France hasn't paid its NATO dues but USAID pays for Fashion Week.)

As Jesse Watters summed up, USAID is only .7 percent of the federal budget. Imagine the fraud, waste and abuse when DOGE looks elsewhere. Imagine the billions wasted by the Pentagon.

I don't think the 'democrat/republican' dynamic is fair. There are lots of Republicans on the take just as there are many Democrats on the take. This is a matter of corruption of which no politician is immune. That said it is time the American people took back their government and said "No More" to the kinds of scams that have been going on for decades if not centuries. America is not exceptional in that regard. In Canada we have the Liberal Party that is owned and operated by the Democrats and a very powerful corporation here in Canada. Between them and the WEF they decide who will be the Prime Minister of Canada and the Prime Minister of Canada is a virtual dictator in Canada. However the last few Prime Ministers Chretien, Martin and Trudeau are beholden to Chinese drug lords who are using Canada as a manufacturer and distributor and money laundering entity to keep their illicit money flowing. However the Chinese drug lords also have to pay their protection money to the Chinese Communist party who has other uses for the money. They sponsor things like DEI and the LGTBQXYZ thereby weakening the US (its main rival) and thus moving itself up the power ladder in international affairs. Silly Canadians and silly Americans are completely oblivious to the things their 'government' is actually doing and thus we see silly leftists moaning about the cuts that Trump/Musk is making.
@hippyjoe1955 Agree to an extent .. there are elements of the Republican party that are guilty of operating in their personal interest instead of us as citizens as well. I hope it all gets addressed.

@BrandNewMan Unfortunately politics attracts greedy people. Greedy people are very easily bought.

@hippyjoe1955 There are lots of Republicans on the take just as there are many Democrats on the take.

1. We'll wait while you produce a reliable link pointing exactly to the Republicans who are "on the take" along with proof that they are on the take Then you have to show the ratio you have spewed out there that somehow Dems and Reps are equally on the take. You just need a reliable link to prove that.

2. This is NOT ABOUT Republicans or Democrats being on the take. It's about USAID and the far left boondoggles it has spent Taxpayer dollars on. Tell us again how important it is to spend ELEVEN MILLION DOLLARS to tell Vietnam not to burn trash.

READ THE LIST.

Quit being stupid. This isn't WHATABOUTISM.

This is specific.

@Reason10 So about McCain and Cheney and McConnell and Graham and Romney and...... Sorry son but I am not a team player. That way I can call a scamp a scamp regardless of the political garb he dons.

@hippyjoe1955 so about McCain and Cheney and McConnell and Graham and Romney and....

I mentioned this a while back. If you want the biggest difference between the two parties, the Republicans are the most independent thinkers in the universe. We can't even agree on lunch. Rush LImbaugh used to say in times of crisis,Democrats circle the wagons; Republicans circle the firing squad.

The Democrats are basically goose steppers who do not know how to think. They just follow their leader, who usually is part of these farting cows.

As far as McCain, Cheney, Romney, McConnell, I know everyone is sick of the term RINO. (Republican In Name Only.) I'll take it a step further.

The Neocons of the first part of this century, (which would also include the Bushes) were big on committing the American military to foreign adventures. They were from both parties. Hiltlary KKKlinton supported the Gulf War. Voted for it.

Trump entering the Washington establishment as a player is kinda of like a black family trying to use the swimming pool at an all white country club back in the 50s, (before the Civil Rights Act.) Trump was hated because he wasn't a member of the country club, even though he could easily afford to BUY the fcking country club. The Bushs, Cheneys, Romneys, Grahams, McCains, were ALL Country Club Republicans. (They didn't like Ronald Reagan too much, but Reagan was just too likeable.)

And Trump committed the most unforgiveable NEO CON sin of them all. He opposed the Gulf War. Except he opposed it for business reasons, not for any alleged "Morality" about nation building or just letting the ragheads commit atrocities against Israel.

That's about as far off the subject as I'll get. As far as any Republican or Democrat not using Washington to get rich, just remember that Trump (in his last presidency and this one) is working for NO SALARY at all. Last president who did that was John F. Kennedy.

In Trump's first term, his business lost a billion dollars because he wasn't there to help run it.
HE DIDN'T NEED THE FUCKING PRESIDENCY. He had a good life without it. He could have had a good life even after the Obamas and Bidens ass fucked the rest of America into a giant ghetto.

@Reason10 You are too much a team player. If someone is a RINO then call them on it.

@hippyjoe1955 You are too much a team player. If someone is a RINO then call them on it.

I'm thinking that the term RINO went irrelevant when Trump burst upon the scene and rewrote all the rules.

Just remember, the Never Trumper group originated at FOXNEWS.

Conservatives like Ben Shapiro actually voted against Trump in his first election, mostly because they thought he would wind up governing to the far left.
When he governed like Reagan, gave American the greatest economy of all time and world peace, conservatives changed their tunes.

I think RINO has been replaced by MAGA.

RINO was always the country club Republicans who were afraid to offend the goose stepping left.

Trump inspired the MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN legions, which now make up the vast majority of America.

YES, Trump WAS the turd in the punch bowl for establishment Republicans. I get that.

Hell, even the Hillbilly Elegy guy didn't like Trump, until he proved everyone wrong in his first term.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@Reason10 If you think that all the RINOs disappeared when Trump was elected you are not thinking at all.
