Trump wants to invade Gaza and remove Palestinians? Are you kidding me? This guy should be impeached

In a stunning proposal, President Donald Trump said Tuesday that the U.S. will "take over" the Gaza Strip, "level the site" and rebuild it, after earlier saying Palestinians living there should leave.

"They instead can occupy all of a beautiful area with homes and safety, and they can live out their lives in peace and harmony" in other areas or countries, he said at a news conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

"The U.S. will take over the Gaza Strip, and we will do a job with it, too. We'll own it and be responsible for dismantling all of the dangerous unexploded bombs and other weapons on the site. Level the site and get rid of the destroyed buildings. Level it out," he said.

How does that qualify for impeachment? The entire world is complaining it’s not a safe place for them to live there. And it’s a suggestion for a solution.

It also points to all the middle eastern countries, that do little to nothing to taking this very small population into their borders or providing any real services for them. They constantly expect European or Western nations to be the ones to take in people, acting as if many lost their home. When in reality they’re far more capable of providing those comforts to them. They’d be in much more amicable lands where they share the same faiths and ideals and cultures. Yet it’s very telling as many of those countries do not allow for mass refugees to enter in and instead have very strict limitations on what they bring in.

The statement he made was more for the benefit of peoples conjecture than anything. To get them to start thinking about what’s being pushed or said about a situation and if the matters they claim are true, “these people are becoming homeless because of all the destruction” yet they who are the most able to provide a proper environment for them, if they believe such things. Never do.

Trump is far more likely to help Israel take back the Gaza Strip than to establish a vacation resort there. But at the same time, the more people react like you do, I think it pushes him to do those things. So it also could be a possibility, just to show the world that it could be done. Everything people said he couldn’t do, he’s proven to accomplish so far. I think it provides him with motivation, drive, and work ethic, every time someone opens their mouth and says he can’t accomplish something. It would probably become the next Dubai… Just to spite people.
@AuRevoir Actually, you answered joker's wild but I scrolled back and I saw no answer from you regarding the America First question. It's moot now though; tRump's people seem to be walking back his comments.

It seems that although tRump said
The U.S. will take over the Gaza Strip, and we will do a job with it, too. We'll own it and be responsible for ...

According to his people, tRump didn't really mean "take over" or "own it," and he didn't mean "permanently resettle" the Gazans either even though those were his words.

Alas, the dream is evaporating!

@AuRevoir Exactly right
The thing is, if he was offering to rebuild Gaza with American money while housing the population in large tented camps during the restoration then I could almost be on board with that...

@Mesthartiya Not only is that not our job, but Trump would never get the funds or Congressional support for it.
@RedBaron Agreed. Which is why this whole idea, thankfully, is a non-starter and will go the same way as nuking hurricanes and injecting bleach.

No one is kidding you..

News flash.. NO ONE can stop him.. UN? Nope, Hamas? Nope.... Iran? Nope.. NO ONE can stop him..

Both Egypt and Jordan are totally dependent upon US foreign aid of > $1.5B per year so perhaps with a bit more money they will allow the Arabs from both Gaza and the territories of Judea and Samaria to relocate..

I bet Tumps family redevelops Gaza into the next Riviera...

Get the people out, send the bulldozers in.. You may as well enjoy the show..

Hilarious..
@pdqsailor1
Gaza is going to America

YEAH!!!! 'MURICA! 😂

Jews have the country of Israel and are a light unto the world

I'm not Antisemitic. You're the one cheering on someone who did a literal Nazi salute.

@BritishFailedAesthetic Actually I am not any kind of Musk fan and the ONLY point of agreement I have with Trump is his Middle East policy.. which happens to be perfect.. You may not like it .. but he happens to be correct.. this will work and it will bring peace to Israel and to the region.. Are the Arabs happy? No not really a problem now is it?

Will it bring peace in the region?
pdqsailor1 · 61-69, M
@DanielsASJ Yes... The points of conflict are being eliminated. Arabs only wanted a one state solution of Palestine with no Israel and zero Jews.. That fantasy has now backfired on them and they will have no Palestine, no place to have a flag and no land to fight over.. They will mostly be removed from Israel to other nations and governed by Arabs/Muslims and have to become members of those societies.. Egypt and Jordan are already at peace with Israel and they get substantial money from the USA to maintain peace with Israel.. That will no doubt continue.. No terrorism, no uprising, invasions, missiles, suicide bombs, knife attacks, car ramming incidents etc. its over.. They won't be in Israel to fight or cause trouble and they no longer have anything to fight about.. They can redirect their hatred to educating their children and try to get jobs to support them.. This is EXACTLY how to bring peace to the region as the issue for agitation has been eliminated..

Real estate dealer in charge of the most powerful nation in the world...what could possibly go wrong?
@pdqsailor1 You mean the people forced to live in walled ghettos for years? Is that who you're talking about? Look, two of my great grandparents were killed in the holocaust (before I was born). I have all the sympathy in the world for people who've been oppressed. And these days that includes Palestinians.

@ekwalizur Many of them are oblivious of history. Greenland saying, "oh yes the U.S. can put their military here but we will remain a sovereign country..." Really ? They should take a look at what happened to Hawaii. Pearl Harbor...
