Elon Musk's call for Germany to 'move beyond' Nazi guilt.

“Children should not be guilty of the sins of their parents,” said Elon Musk. In doing so, he is reinforcing the lie that Germans were wrongdoers. Is the genocide in Gaza a wrongdoing? As far as Americans are concerned, the US is supporting an operation to clear out human trash to make way for a better world in the Middle East. It's hypocritical and the practicing of double standards to dump on the Germans.

Indeed, I think that Americans throwing stones at Germany in the 1930s should look in the mirror or at least think about reinforcing their windows.

Having said that, Gaza wouldn't be where I would focus.

Not that there aren't connections to Nazis, like Al Husseini, but even if Hitler wasn't responsible for a single death, much less attempted genocide, it seems like a poor analogy to me.

Who is dumping on the Germans?

Not me. I drive BMWs and nothing else. I know nothing about what happened in the WW2 era. I believe nothing written about the Germans. I have met Germans and they are an impressive people with amazing capability.
