I don't agree with that but it is part of the US Constitution and I can well understand its inclusion given the Founding Father's history when dealing with tyrannical monarchs. However Biden took it a huge step beyond what I think was the intention of the pardon system when he began pardoning people before they were charged. What kind of system of justice is that? You can be as corrupt as you want so long as you have a president that preempts any legal action against you by simply issuing a pardon.
