Israel and the church.

Had a bit of a tête-à-tête last night with a woman who was upset about the pending cease fire in Israel/Gaza. She was angry that it was not good for Israel. She didn't like it when I said that Israel is getting off light.

Well, people should learn that the Church is the Biblical Isreal, not the modern nation state.

It's unbelievable. Some of the families of the hostages who are still held are saying, "keep fighting".. this is how hateful these people are, how obsessed with superiority.

The timing of this just says it all. Biden's last week in office. THe war has been going on for 15 months, and during his last week, he all of a sudden makes a deal ? Why?

Is he doing this because he knows Netanyahu will break the deal and he can blame it on Trump?

Or is doing it to prevent Trump from winning a Nobel Peace Prize, or 2 NPPs because there have been talks about Trump getting the NPP if he ends the war in Gaza and he could get another for negotiating a deal between Russia or Ukraine.

Or does Netanyahu know that When Trump comes in office, he might send Troops into Gaza and end the war on America's terms. Which would mean no bombing innocent Palestinians, or burning them alive or shooting babies in the forehead.

@Roundandroundwego I wouldn't label conservative or liberal. I would say that there are those who think they have the obligation to rule the world and to use it to their advantage. In the present USA I think that Biden and his admin were meddling where they didn't belong and that Trump is on the surface at least ending wars. No I am not about to make Trump a saint and that is why I said on the surface. He is still trying to expand the USA to include Canada and Greenland without going to war.

@hippyjoe1955 there's a clear division between the left and right in politics on colonization, invasion, war and capitalism. We commies and international socialists form the left and we're anti war, pro disarmament. That's a key reason why Americans have never included us in politics. We're left out. War is normal on the right in politics. That's why they have two rights to choose from in all Western countries.

@ekwalizur Truth be told it should never have been created. No I am not a Jew hater or a Jew killer. I don't believe in killing other people which is why I oppose Israel as it presently exists. It was created by war and it has grown by war and it continues to start needless wars.

@ekwalizur The one good thing that has come out of this last deadly war is that the Church in America is slowly starting to question the heresy of dispensationalism it hugged with enthusiasm since the acceptance of the Scofield study bible.
