Well at least Newsom isn't a party traitor. Glad he got rid of the one that did switch. That's Kimberly Guilfoyle.

California is still the world's 5th largest economy, for the seventh consecutive year. At 1.3 trillion above Texas, which is the next closest. This is embarrassing Trump, to no end. No other state comes close.

Trump just can't grasp not being greedy, actually working. So he is attempting to insult a working strategy.

When Trump actually gets in office though, it will be far more than just insults. More like black mail.

Do this or I'll cut off that. Likely pushing for redistricting, in favor of Republicans. Plus other budget spending issues, if he can get them through Congress, which is possible with a Republican Congress.

I give kudos to Newsom for making the abortion issue a state constitutional thing!

Trump can't do anything about that, without making it a federal constitution thing.

That would be impossible really.

Would like Newsom to push more on food and housing programs, those will be one of the first things to go under Trump. Blackmail here will be removing vaccines possibly health services in public schools. DHHS covers housing, health, vaccines and food, if RFK gets confirmed.

There's going to be a lot of blackmail going on from Trump.

Do this or else.

I really don't know if Newsom will be up to it. I'm pretty certain he wants to run for president in 2028.

If Newsom cave's in to Trump, it won't look good for Newsom as a candidate. He doesn't cave in then there just won't be enough money for the various programs.

Either way he loses the candidacy.

You live up to your name! And, you make a lot of assertions. Although it has been a tradition in the country for individuals to move from one party to another, since KG did it, it is now traitorous! Interesting but not convincing.

CA does have an enormous economy, but not all built by Newsom. Given that it and the population are shrinking, for their sake we hope he is able halt the trend. That CA has many infrastructure problems along side of a tremendous homeless problem, it may be hard for the powers that be, who have endlessly played favorites to the homeless, to reclaim the working and tax paying class.

Speculation on the character of another is rather short sighted, especially since DT has not “gotten” anyone in his previous term in office. He has been blackmailed by the professional, there is no evidence that he has blackmailed anyone. That people negotiate for their side is actually the point of the system, so I don’t know where you are coming from with that. It is certainly kinder than people who steal from the government for their own agenda, like the governments in CA, who diverted money away from fire protection.

As far as the abortion issue is concerned, it was the republicans who petitioned to have the abortion issue taken away from the Supreme Court and remanded to the states, so YOUR Saturday night fun is safe.

If past behavior predicts future behavior holds true then we know Newsom will act in his own best interest to the detriment of all else

@MarthannBann888 deniers are deniers. Even in the face of a actual conviction.

Where there is one flaw on the face of an iceberg showing, there are a thousand other flaws below the water.

Money talks has even been a Republican slogan for decades. And after multiple bankruptcies, not just one, he still has billions. Approximately over 5 billion by Forbes.

That type of money screams corruption of the deepest type on all levels.

Nothing is safe with that type of money. And I don't care which party they belong to.

Is it any wonder that Trump's administration consist of billionaires?

Scoundrels one and all!

Newsom is in a fight with billionaires. Not just Donald Trump.

We the people will see if he caves in or not!

If he does, California is lost. And so is the whole country lost economy in the face of the whole world.

Texas will never be number 5 in the world. They too cheap!

California's loss is the whole countries loss. It doesn't even out. Texas doesn't have access to the whole Pacific.

So California will always be above Texas in world ranking.

@DeWayfarer

Seventy percent of the nation’s wealth is centered in the Democratic Party. So, by your calculations you are scoundrels all.

@MarthannBann888 bunk! Musk is currently Worth over 400 billion and expected to reach a trillion in the next four years.

Biden has been pushing redistricting and his minions have been working feverishly to lay spending traps. It’s far from the black and white you paint. @DeWayfarer
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@jackjjackson you nor he live in a desert.

The conservative corruption economy is point out every day here!

Tax money not being shown where it's being spent that type of thing. Political nepotism as well .

The counsel members are most conservative across the board. Not the mayor though who are constantly fighting the counsel members.

This is happening cross the county in various cities.

One of the biggest travesties in government on all levels is that voting on single issues has become extinct. Our elected representatives do not want us to see how we are being betrayed. It isn’t honest intellectually to conclude that one political party is worse than the other. It’s absolutely reasonable to prefer a particular policy over another. @DeWayfarer

Every other county in the country acknowledges that life occurs outside its borders. Coachella’s conceit does not 😂🤣😂 @DeWayfarer

Every other country in the country acknowledges that life occurs at upside its borders. Coachella’s conceit does not

I have no idea where you are even getting that.

I have yet to even mention, either that city or even that word for the area, anywhere in our discussions.

I have yet to even go to the city of Coachella, despite living in the area.

And you couldn't catch me going to the event named Coachella either.

I despise crowds!

Most that lived in the area, didn't even know the areas name, until that event first started.

It was just simply, the desert, to most. I was riding my motorcycle here in 1977. After my motorcycle accident in Anaheim.

There's not an area in southern California, that I haven't either lived in or been to. Including Imperial county, where I convinced my father not to buy property there. Despite the whole area begin liberal.

Is that not disjointed enough for you? 😆

I could make it worse, like Trump does, far better than you! 😈

Maya and I were spouting non sense back at each other years ago, on this same site. 🙃

It was a psychop*thic site to see! 👹

Yet even she gave up and politely asked me to stop!
