Trump refuses to rule out taking Greenland by military force.

Greenland is part of Denmark.

Denmark is a member of NATO.

Article 5 of the NATO charter:
The Parties agree that an armed attack against one or more of them in Europe or North America shall be considered an attack against them all and consequently they agree that, if such an armed attack occurs, each of them, in exercise of the right of individual or collective self-defence recognised by Article 51 of the Charter of the United Nations, will assist the Party or Parties so attacked by taking forthwith, individually and in concert with the other Parties, such action as it deems necessary, including the use of armed force, to restore and maintain the security of the North Atlantic area.

Does Trump really want to go to war with the rest of NATO, including two nuclear-armed powers, over an island(s) covered with ice?
What was it about these guys claiming to be peaceful and not wanting war?

Greenland is ready,

Americans don't have to ask if you can legitimately take territory by force. You did, but you aren't available for logic anymore! Just war.
@Roundandroundwego 90% of Americans don’t want to invade Greenland.
@LeopoldBloom I assume 99.9999 percent don't contextualize a thing and have nothing to say about anything! Like you would do during a genocide, a war against Russia and the cars, housing and medical care systems you endure daily,- you say nothing and change nothing and smirk a lot. Together as a unified cold war.

trump thinks being the most powerful nation in the world is useless if you don't utilize colonialism on some of the little fish you want.

Didn't you get the memo? Trump re-named it.

But will he make Pluto a planet again?

It really doesn't matter what you think.

Greenland is a self-governing region of Denmark.

As Denmark is part of NATO, an attack on Greenland would allow Denmark to invoke Article 5 of the NATO Charter.

@beckyromero When I said I don’t think, I did not mean it was a personal opinion LOL

It doesn't matter whose opinion it is; Greenland is part of Denmark.

The head of state of Greenland is King Frederik X, just as the head of state of Puerto Rico is President Joe Biden.

Denmark is a founding member of NATO and the United States acknowledges that Greenland is an "equal part of the Kingdom of Denmark."

The NATO Status of Forces Agreement has applied to Greenland since 1955.

Denmark's permanent representation on the North Atlantic Council (the political decision-making wing of NATO) includes Greenland's representative Lida Skifte Lennert.
