He could refuse to rule out invading Russia too but it's not going to happen outside of an already substantial conflict. There is no chance of America invading Greenland unless under attack from Greenland or Denmark, which is never going to happen. There is equally no chance of him deploying military force to take the Panama Canal. This all all just brinkmanship in order to add pressure to future negotiations.

@Askeladd Trump has refused to rule out using military force to control Greenland and the Panama Canal. Since Greenland is not US territory, that would be tantamount to an invasion. Coming from someone who considered using nukes to deflect hurricanes, I wouldn't put it past him.
