I'm from New York City. I grew up there, and I worked there, but I moved upstate, and it's different MAGA-land racist. I feel all alone up here. I have a few friends who are not MAGA; we always get together alone. The Trump people here know New York is a blue state, and it drives them crazy because their vote for president does not count.
@WonderGirl What gets me is these Trump people are all so angry. I thought when they won the election, they would be happy, but they didn't seem happy at all.

@WonderGirl Hang in there! Any chance you can move away from the Alabama part of Mew York?
And staying angry is an essential part of MAGA, like all other fascist movements.

@WonderGirl The ones who are angry all the time belong to a certain demographic. They long for a society from the past where they enjoyed a position of privilege, power and status. They hate that the world around them is changing. They are getting older and dying off, further eroding their position. They fear becoming the minority.
