MAGA World is going to love this doozy! Steve Bannon calls for reparations for American-born tech workers!

After the rift escalated over the weekend, Bannon weighed in on his 'War Room Pandemic' podcast. 'No, no. This is central to how they gutted the middle class in this country. And we haven't fought these battles for years and years and years to allow American citizens of every race eth religion be gutted by the sociopathic overlords in Silicon Valley.'

He called out Musk and Ramaswamy, as well as tech entrepreneur David Sacks, who Trump has nominated to advise him on crypto and artificial intelligence.

'Oh we're just trying to reform it,' Bannon said with dripping sarcasm.

'No there's no reformation. No reform. We want it gone. We demand that it's gone. We're going to want to fight for this,' Bannon said. 'And not just gone. I've got another alternative. We want reparations for the tech workers that you stole their lives. You stole their lives!'

On Monday he said, "The workers that are here on H-1B visas should be deported at the same time we’re deporting the 15 million illegal aliens Biden brought across the border to suppress wages to low-income workers."

"American workers should be hired immediately to fill those gaps, and then we should start the discussions on reparations, on what they knowingly did to American tech workers."

Can't wait for Il Duce to be asked to comment on that!

While there is a place in the US for H1-B workers, the program has sadly been abused to hire much cheaper foreign workers and thereby drive down US tech salaries.

Back in the 80s it was understood among talented tech college students that 5 years at Microsoft would likely make you a millionaire, and after 7 years you'd never need to work another day in your life. And I personally know some 'softies who benefited from that career path and now work on socially beneficial projects. Apple was also a very rewarding place to work, but nobody created more millionaires than Microsoft.

In the '90s Google was probably the biggest generator of millionaires, and I know several ex-googlers who have similarly retired to what they view as socially beneficial projects.

Another path to financial freedom for talented tech workers was the startup. Often the startup would be bought out by Oracle or Apple or one of the other biggies, and the early workers become rich on buyout day. The startup economy still serves as part of the research and development arm of big tech.

All of which is to say that Musk's companies just don't provide those kinds of rewards. While Elon's net worth is growing by the hundreds of billions of dollars, he's making very few millionaires. Skinflints like him will NEVER get the best workers.

Oh goodie. He means, people like me, will get messed over even worse.

This will back fire on him. By even the moderate conservatives, much less Trump, the billionaires and the whole Democratic party.

Bannon is going to be politically lynched with a political cross, nails and thorns.

Yes I was once apart of the tech sector, decades ago.

This is just SO great...I hope Bannon gets his way. I want to see every remaining Tech employer in the US sink into mediocrity as their competitive advantage leaves the country and goes to work in China and India..And how many of those MAGA ex coal miners and rig workers are going to show up to fill these high tech creative positions?

@beckyromero I agree completely. I just dont believe Bannon cares about them either. Hes just looking for a rabble of his own. Equally Trump and Musk are in a parasitic dance. Each looking to profit from the other. But Musk has an end game. While Trump has the Sharpie that counts. I have no idea who will win that one.. Stay tuned for the next exciting episode.. Unless you are in the US. In which case, buckle up and assume the brace position..😷
