He died and deserves the honors accorded a former president.
However, he was ineffective in office and not up to the job, and later essentially pretended he was still in office by pursuing foreign policy goals even if it meant undermining the actual president.
He did this in trying to stop the first Iraq war and conducting freelance nuclear diplomacy with North Korea, directly in opposition to the wishes of President Clinton.
On top of this, he was disproportionally sympathetic to Arab enemies of Israel and both distrustful of and hostile toward the American Jewish community and other supporters of Israel.
A dear cousin of mine who was a liberal Democrat actually voted for Reagan because she was convinced that Carter was antisemitic, and Carter in 1980 received a lower share of the Jewish vote than any Democratic candidate since 1920.

Peanut farmer, veteran, nuclear physicist and a Christian who truly walked the walk and never used it as a political tool. He was progressive with a true commitment to making lives better. A great man.

The ONLY peace was when Reagan reversed KKKarter's policies and saved the world from the Soviet Union.

Truthfully, I steer clear of Antichrist predictions. I wasn't one of the Bible's authors so I have no authority to make such predictions.

Just try driving through the city of Miami if you want to see the results of KKKarter's policies.
