What if the United States was part of CANADA? How many members would there be in Parliament based on Canada's current MP to population ratio?

With a population of 40.1 million, each of Canada's 343 MPs represent roughly 116,910 residents.

As that ratio, absorbing the U.S. population of 334.9 million would add 2,865 MPs for a total of 3,208 MPs.

The current size of the U.S. House of Representatives is 435. Each Member represents roughly 769,885 residents.

Now don't forget several more languages. I don't see it happen because of it. Can't see the French speakers putting up with it. Canada would fragment first

Canadians had Trudeau the father, and now they have Trudeau the son.

What's next, Trudeau the holy ghost? 😇

🤣

Well, don't forget. We had the Adamses and the Bushes.

Yes, and we could have done without the second Bush, only the alternatives were worse. 🙄
