The ONLY thing the new Government will care about is that wealth continues to flow upwards ...only faster than it was.
"Left", "Right", "Marxists", "Nazis" , "Illegals", "Trans", "Woke", etc etc are all just a smokescreen to keep ordinary folk busy fighting amongst themselves.
Since 1980, the median wage of the bottom 90% of Americans has stagnated. The top 400 people on the other hand have gone from owning 1% of the nation's wealth, to 3.5%.
The only other country with similar levels of wealth concentration is ....drum roll please... Russia!
Be angry at the Governments, parties and people who have enabled this, but please do not kid yourself that Trump and his bunch of billionaire "Second Gilded Age", robber baron, buddies are going to do anything to reverse those trends (quite the opposite ...let's start with "remove the debt ceiling so I can extend my tax breaks for the rich" ...maybe throw in some reduction/removal of safety nets and a dose of corporate deregulation...?).

@PSuss1 That's true for most of the last 45 years, but in the last few years, real wages grew for the lower quintile of US workers. For the first time in GENERATIONS, the lower half of workers are sharing in our economic growth!

@ElwoodBlues hey EB, thanks! It looks like everyone's wages have been climbing steeply in real terms since 2012/13ish according to this chart? ...people don't seem to be feeling any better off though?

@PSuss1 I know what you mean. I think many people admitted to feeling better under Trump, then were miserable during Covid, and are still recovering from that. Just a data-free guess though.
