@whowasthatmaskedman Yes they will. And around the same time all the price rises from those tariffs will start to make life uncomfortably expensive for the average Joe because an expensive America is a STRONG America.

@justanothername There are some interesting parallels to be drawn between Hawaii and the rest o American.. And the future of American and its place in the world. Costs of living. Import prices and local taxation. And indeed reliance on tourism as income..😷

@justanothername Interesting true story. Last time I was in the US as a tourist, the $US was down and this meant I got more than $US1 for my local $A1. Which made America a cheap destination. And thats whats going to happen again to get the foreign currency coming in. I have to admit, the whole place is a theme park to the rest of the world. The down side is that the devaluation and loss of the $US as a reserve currency will mean every import into American will rise in price by us to 50%. And America is heavily import reliant. Trump really doesnt need tariffs. He just needs to devalue the $. But the BRICS boys will do that for him. After the tariffs. Togther they will perform taxidermy on the US economy..😷
