I honestly don't know how i feel about the death penalty.

I have been the spiritual advisor for an individual who was executed for his crimes. That also means I was one of the few men inside the death chamber during the execution, so I saw it very close and personal. It leaves you emotionally ripped apart to go through it.

I am still however in favor of keeping it on the books, and let it be used. If you want to reduce the feeling of barbarism that some fear it evokes, you actually need to use it more quickly. The quicker a person makes it through all the mandatory appeals the less stressed they are at the execution. (in my observations)
