What would happen to someone on here who admitted to being a democratic socialist?

Depends by what you mean by "Democratic Socialist". What Bernie wanted is really Social Democracy. Traditional Democratic Socialism calls for the end to the capitalist system of production and having workers instead share the profit and management. The difference between it and Communism is that Democratic Socialism is closer to what Marx actually imagined. That and we prefer to work via parliamentary reform as opposed to revolution.

@Jackjjacksonjr: Liberals defend the status quo and emphasise identity issues. Socialists - while also Progressives - emphasise economics, class politics and are in favour of radical societal change. I would know. Bernie Sanders is kind of in between the two.
