Due, whomever you may be, you're misleading. This video is a composite of quotes, from different time periods, designed to look like it was done last week.
Not that I'm a fan of the guy, but you seem to be a propagandist, unleashing itself here by the online sources financed and operated by the Putin network.
The new guy specifically stated, yesterday, that he has no interest in starting a new war against anyone or retaliating for Israel's destruction, a couple of days ago, of the entire Syrian naval power, and 80% of its military equipment and ammunition.
Time will tell if he's going to respect his word, but his history is sketchy, but no more sketchy than the propaganda you're pushing.

@Northwest The video in question is undated, but it emerged fairly recently. Why is it surfacing now? Because there was another video released recently, where unnamed members of HTS declared their intention to march toward the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem. That particular video was taken on the day when Jolani delivered a speech at the Umayyad Mosque in Damascus.
Let me clarify something important. The Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem holds a lot of religious significance for Jihadists. It is considered the third holiest site in Islam after Mecca and Medina. According to Muslims, Muhammad (PBUH) is said to have made the miraculous Night Journey, Isra and Mi'raj, where he was supposedly transported from Mecca to Al-Aqsa in one single night (Surah Al-Isra 17:1).
The October 7th attacks were, in part, a direct response to an Israeli police raid that occurred at the Al-Aqsa Mosque earlier in 2023 during Ramadan. The raid was seen as an infringement on the sacredness of the mosque and moreover, it happened during the holiest month for Muslims. In fact, the October 7th attack was codenamed "Operation Al-Aqsa Flood." It wasn't a coincidence they chose October 7th, which was Simchat Torah, a Jewish holiday.

@Jokersswild If you believe the Oct 7th massacre was the result of an Israeli raid on the Aqsa Mosque, then you're too far gone.
That massacre was the culmination of years of planning between Hamas, Iran, Houthis, Iraqi Popular Brigades, and Hizballah.
All have a common goal: eliminating the state of Israel and making Jerusalem Islam's capital.
That he prayed at the Umayyad mosque is no surprise. While a Mosque, one of its sections, specifically is dedicated to Saint George the dragon slayer. His tomb is right there.
Saladin (yes, that one) is buried into one of the outside walls, flanked by a couple of Ottoman officers, who decide they wanted to be there, using their power, back in the day.
One of the entrances, gives way to a Byzantine Baptism Font.
I've been there. Interesting visit. It started life out as a Roman temple, flipped by Byzantines into a Church, and then converted into a mosque in 705-715. If you block at the grand entrance, you would think you're at a Cathedral.
But really, that video is a hodge podge of propaganda.
I've been to Al Aqsa as well (Dome of the Rock).
