Republicans on House ethics panel vote to block Gaetz report.

Nice, little campaign ad can be made against every sitting Republican member in the House when Speaker Johnson blocks a floor vote, because a majority in a floor vote can make the report public. If Johnson blocks the floor vote it would be because the Republican caucus as a whole in the House block the floor vote. It would only take a handful of GOP members, plus all the Dems, to force a floor vote.

If confirmed by the GOP Senate, Gaetz is bound to screw (no pun intended) up someplace.

Now that a hacker has stolen many of the sworn deposition transcripts and other source material, there will be a steady drip drip drip of new Gaetz revelations every day. It will stay on the front page. Today's info is about how much money Gaetz venmo'ed to two of the women he transported across state lines and paid for sex.
