Cenk Uygur is leaving Democratic Party to work alongside of Donald Trump

[media=https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ykjC4lVRLbo]

Cenk Uygur is leaving the Democratic Party. I didn't ever predict he would, but was expecting a mass exodus over the next few repubkican presidents as the Republican Party becomes "The Big Tent Party" after gobbling up most of the Dems. If you notice Trump didn't hesitate to hire a few liberals into his administration, in either cabinet or czar roles.

So right now it is a question of how mich of the traditional left's politics can be incorporated into the traditional right. Not everything is gonna port over feom either group. Trump isn't a traditional republican, he is a 1990s New York Democrat. Basically he is the British singer Sting, surrounded by a bunch of younger singers who are into music he doesn't do, but they all know and understand him, and are comfortable around him.

So as new people come in, I strongky recommend we keep the conservative ethos of strong constitutionalism and democracy (Biden was not that), strong military (not saying empire buikding, just don't want to be defeated if we need to fight), and careful with knee-jerk taxation and friendly with corporations- especially those those that are employers of US citizens- I don't care for the ones that go overseas, especially China- I'm more forgiving if it is a politically aligned nation like within NATO, The Quad or Liberia, but still not thrilled seeing factories shut down and moved there. I'd also like to see more emphasis on family values. I have no kids, but we need to be a family centric society first- because they produce the adults our society runs off of. Don't neglect the kids, and so favor strong families.

Outside of this. I'm open to alot of stuff. I don't know how far we can stretch it until the Big Tent implodes with ideas just not compatible. Then we will be back to a two or even multiparty state.

A big tent would imply that Trump's policies are somehow inclusive of liberal ideas. There's nothing liberal about him. He represents an extremist right wing movement by any definition of the right.

He also doesn't exactly have Democrat Party faithful joining. Elon Musk was rejected by liberals for being a deranged bigot and saw a guaranteed fan base within the Republicans. RFK Jr is a genuine madman who wants to ban Mountain Dew and vaseline. Neither of these people are liberals. Trump is not surrounding himself with Democrats greats who have moved to the light, he's surrounding himself with a clown car of idiots and con artists. It's VERY funny though.

Cenk and TYT have always sucked and the Democrats losing so badly completely shook him, so he's looking at the other side now. Some other Democrats are going to do the same as they're disillusioned with their own party and will gravitate right.

But the notion that Trump is like, this great unifier where liberals and conservatives can frolic freely beneath his umbrella is fucking idiotic.

The Democrats suck and lost. The Republicans are deranged con artists who are going to rob you blind while lighting immigrants on fire to keep you distracted.

Also, Tim Pool. lol.
It would not surprise me if he joins Anna Kasparian with that. People forget Cenk used to be a right wing Republican years ago.

But they have both been more and more reactionary over the last few years. But then again that is where the money is. The right wing grift is a great way to get rich.
It is ironic this is coming from Tim Pool who for awhile was pretending to be a liberal too.
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow Being homeless has everything to do with my Ideology. I was homeless and was first a Cynic Philosopher (as in Diogenes) and then switched over to Christian Stoicism. I'm a member of the Prohibition Party, and a conservative. You never asked what my ideology was. It's co siderabky more complex than the lazy, no nothing cultural Marxism you follow.

As long as their national populists it's cool.
@HobNoblin What do you mean by national populist?
HobNoblin · 36-40, M
@Motzu populist and nationalistic, anti globalist.
@HobNoblin US was the nation who developed back in the 19th century the concept of the United Nations (predates the concept of the League of Nations) and also we habitually have built international military alliances like NATO and trade organizations. Part of our national populism has always had a international bent to it. While I'm okay with the idea of America first and self sufficiency, I don't want us to become a hermit kingdom like North Korea with the Juche Ideal (a brutal self sifficiency at all costs), or Bhutan with it's supposedly joyful Buddhist feudal despotism. Trade, and international interactions, and a exchange of ideas has always mattered to Americans.
