What does it cost to purchase 4 year around the world cruise, and escape the new administration?

Photo above - This is what an affordable cabin on the 4 year "avoid trump" cruise trip will look like. I've seen bigger Motel 6 rooms. Ones that didn't have the toilet in sight of the bed, either.

Hey – progressive millionaires: If you DON’T already own a 400 foot long personal yacht, no need for despair. Several companies have just introduced a 4-year, round the world cruise. Would THIS be a better use of your money than bailing out Kamala's unpaid campaign bills?

So how much does a cruise like this cost? First, look at all you'll get. There will be 400 ports of call. So if any of those ports are in South America, Africa, the Middle east, India, or the Baltic states, you can see how the rest of the world lives. It can’t only be Rome and Paris, you know. And meals are included. What kind of meals depends on your cabin class, of course. Probably not shrimp, lobster, or beef. Possibly some chicken. Mrs. Paul's fish sticks? Pizza!

The cruise line claims you COULD spend as little as $40,000. Um, that’s $40K per year, actually. So, more like $160,000 to $200,000 total to escape Trump. This is the no frills version. You probably won’t get 24-hour buffet, open bar, and free excursions when the ship makes port. But still – try living in NYC on 40 grand a year. Most berths will probably cost A LOT more, of course. You can’t even send a kid to college for $40,000 a year today.

If you think this anti-Trump cruise could be a scam, you’re not alone. A “normal” year long cruise costs $100,000 per person. So a cabin for 2 is about a quarter million dollars. For that price you DO get the works. Heat, air conditioning, a separate toilet and shower, free internet access. Plus beer and pretzels at midnight if you can’t fall asleep. Extrapolating . . . 4 years around the world would be in the realm of $1 million for 2 people. Still, it might be worth it you’re panicked that Trump will reduce taxes on the rich, cut government waste and fraud, thin the ranks of the Pentagon's 490 generals, and secure the borders, no? Personally, i think the odds are low any of that will happen.

Obviously, you have to be REALLY well to do - and insane - to buy a 4-year cruise to escape Trump. If life at sea isn't for you, then consider moving to London. That’s now “a thing” too - see second link below. London will cost £70,000 – per month. In American money, that’s $100,000 per month. $5 million for 4 next for years. It’s not clear if meals are included. If that seems pricey, you could buy a 3 bedroom townhouse in London for $5 million, and pretty much count on getting your money back when you sell in 2028. Again, food, drinks, healthcare, transportation, cable, cellular service, and VAT taxes might be extra. I never said this was simple math, did I?

I could rant that anyone fleeing America because they're denial over election day is unpatriotic. But actually, if someone has been running their mouth, threatening to leave, packing their bags might the MOST patriotic thing to do. Keep your word. Don’t stay here flame everyone on social media with your left-wing conspiracy theories, like the MAGA-anderthals did for the last 4 years. And please don’t go to DC and riot on inauguration day. Biden already signed an executive order authorizing the National Guard, Secret Service, Homeland Security, FBI, and local police to shoot to kill if that happens. But that was when he was convinced Kamala would win, and the rioters would be "garbage".

I’m just sayin’ . . .

You could live on a cruise ship for the length of a presidential term

I recommend encouraging ALL OF THEM to sign up for one of these cruises ASAP get the hello out ASAP. Imagine what they will do to each other cooped up for four years. Based on a normal mortality rate which this should increase imagine how many will be DEAD fed to the sharks by the end. More cruise line profits and less dim voters in 2028. I’m all for them shipping out.

What a paradox. Over 70 MILLION Americans WILLINGLY voted for T Rump effectively giving him free rein over the Senate AND the House. Meaning he can do what ever the fuck he wants to with no limits or checks.

I say give it 12 months and see if “buyers remorse” kicks in.

@justanothername there's always buyers regret. thats why the party holding the white always loses midterm elections in the senate and house. do your research

This is where my sense of schadenfreude kicks in.
It’s not like it wasn’t obvious what what happen if T Rump got voted in, but apparently for 70 million people there were completely oblivious.

BWAHAHAHA

Somehow a lot of Germans survived the reign of the third reich without having to escape to the United States. Even the French revolution didn't cut everyone's heads off. Somehow we'll survive. I predict that i will be doing a lot more fishing up north.

You are really unaware...

@SomeMichGuy i'm talking REAL college. not a community college. Try the all in price including room, meals, books, and mandatory fees..
@SusanInFlorida You are still unaware (and, to clarify, people using jr colleges as a means to greatly reduce the cost of an academic degree shouldn't be scorned).
