Trump's days are numbered...

Face it. Trump is a demented old man. The only reason why people support him is because they hope to grab a piece of the pie when he kicks the bucket. And when power comes up for grabs, people will develop their own agendas, possibly splitting the Republican Party into numerous factions. To win, Democrats must unite.

I read somewhere that this was the reason people voted for him, they think he is going to fix the economy. Oh, we know he will take care of his rich buddies but the common man, h3ll no.

I do not know about that Elon musk character thought because his net worth makes trump look like a welfare case.

Edit - BTW, saying "kick the bucket" isn't very nice. One should say, "bite the dust". 😄

@Punches his first term in office contradicts everything you just said. Especially about the so called common man or working man. Everybody had more money in their pocket. Then Biden and the crooked Democrats stole the election and cost me a thousand extra a month just to live.
Trump is for the middle class. Harris wanted to eliminate the working middle class.

@Baremine People forget that when Biden took office, we were in the midst of the pandemic and worldwide inflation was out of control.

I will say - trump wasn't real bad during his first run but this time, all h3ll is likely to break loose.

Libs always have a problem with facts. Inflation was at 1.4% when Biden was sworn in.

@BizSuitStacy So how are tarifs going to help the economy? Most of our goods come from China.

I do not imagine companies are going to pack up and move back to the USA.
@Punches You should educate yourself before popping off. China is no. 3 trade partner behind Canada and Mexico. No...most of our goods do not come from China.

You also seem to have memory issues...

Did you forget that Trump slapped huge tariff's on China during his first term? Did the US suffer? Inflation was at a paltry 1.4% when Biden was sworn in.

BTW, how do you feel about buying "goods" from countries that exploit child labor? 🤔

I do not imagine companies are going to pack up and move back to the USA.
You don't have to imagine it...did you forget (there's that memory problem again) that when Trump lowered the corporate tax rate, several offshore companies repatriated back to the US?

@BizSuitStacy Check around your house, unless you have actively avoided buying stuff made off shore, I think you will not be happy about mow much comes from China and Mexico.

I cannot imagine companies putting in the expense to just move back to the USA based on the tax whims of whatever president is in at the time.

I think what is happening is you hardcore maga types are trying to justify to yourselves that you made the right choice at the polls.

I mean it is understandable, we all try to justify our stup*d actions.
@Punches You don’t seem to understand: Red China has tariffs against our goods. They may call it by some other legalese words, but that is what they are!

Works for them!

Will work for us
@Punches Keep spinning - your "facts" are wrong.

Wrong Fact No. 1
Inflation wasn't out of control when Biden took office...it happen after he took office...

Wrong Fact No. 2
Most of our goods do not come from China. They are the No. 3 trading partner behind Canada behind Canada & Mexico.

Wrong Fact No. 3
I cannot imagine companies putting in the expense to just move back to the USA based on the tax whims of whatever president is in at the time.
US companies offshore were making roughly $3 trillion in profits. The corp tax cuts repatriated $777 billion in 2018 alone. So yes...they did move back.

You also seem to forget that Trump tariffed China in his first term. Nobody complained. It was only the recent mainstream media's anti-tariff talking points that you lemmings started parroting the narrative. But we all have to justify our stupid actions, right?

@Punches he did impose tariffs during his first time in office and manufacturing jobs did move back to the United States.
dale74 · M
@Punches most of these companies moved out of the United States during the Obama presidency when everybody was yelling tax companies so yes they will relocate factories based on political taxation.
