Recess Appointments

Sunday afternoon, Trump demanded on social media that the new Senate Majority Leader (will have a 53-47 majority), send the Senate on a long furlough, to allow Trump to appoint all his selected Cabinet members, without having to go through Senate hearings.

This is all legit and Constitutional.

All three candidates for Senate Majority leadership were quick to announce Sunday afternoon that they're good moving forward with Trump's plan. Including John Thune, who's not a Trump fan, and is probably serving his last Senate term.
