‘Feeling of dread’ spreads across federal workforce as second Trump term looms
CNN —
Much of the federal workforce is on edge and bracing itself for the likelihood its ranks will be purged when President-elect Donald Trump takes office.
Trump, who has derided civil servants as agents of the “deep state,” promised on the campaign trail to reinstate a 2020 executive order known as Schedule F, giving him the power to commence mass firings of nonpartisan federal employees who might spoil Trump’s partisan plans.
“The objective is to create space to put loyalists in what were, what are still, career civil service positions,” former Trump appointee Ronald Sanders – who resigned over Trump’s politicization of the federal workforce – told CNN. Sanders added it is “problematic” if schedule F is being used to reinforce and maintain political loyalty.

Civil servants who Trump is likely to target should FIND OTHER JOBS NOW and give their notice that they are quitting on January 20th, 2025.
Let Trump have to deal with the massive resignations and the ensuing chaos.
U.S. District attorneys who Trump won't reappoint should also resign. Going back to a law firm will be easy enough for them. Then run for a state legislative seat in 2025 or 2026.
Analysts at the CIA, FBI and Homeland Security shouldn't have any trouble finding alternative employment. What good will investigating threats to the United States be anyway when the Commander-in-Chief won't act on it and instead rely on his BFF Moscow?
Who wil Trump have to blame for the consequences? The very people who he was going to fire anyway?
