Are u happy with Donald Trump being president again? 🤔 🇺🇸

Of the USA.
Our economy is in my opinion the most important issue of the day. Not saying abortion is not an issue. Not saying illegal immigration is not either. Or war. But some things are out of our control. And if we choose not to control it it's because the establishment is benefiting and profiting from it anyway. War and immigration is a business.
The pharmacuetical industry is a business. Politics in itself, is a business. So this is what it is. The system is corrupt. Democrat or Republican.
So nobody here should be surprised that we got what we did on last night. Regardless of what goes down soon, America will survive. Now my question to you Are you ok with the fact that Donald Trump' is President of the United States again.
Best answer wins.

The only reason I'm unhappy is that America is now going to do f-all to combat climate change. It wasn't doing much before, but it was something; now it will do nothing.
@SW-User Human-caused climate change is a scam, period.

Earth’s climates have changed now and then for billions of yrs. It will continue to do so long after the human race is gone…

Wake up.
SW-User
@Thorstormbringer No thanks.

Just slip back into your alternate reality (which, frankly, I wish I was part of) and we'll say no more about it.
@SW-User Believe what you will. I am a geologist, when I was getting my degree, decades ago, no one had ever heard or thought of human-caused climate change. You know why? Absence of Leftist politics influencing and financing scientific research in the Western nations. In other words, agenda-driven “science.”

@Thorstormbringer Remind me not to send my kids to your university. Also, since when did geology have anything to do with climate?
@SW-User Ok. Agreed. Then do not send your offspring to Harvard.

BTW, do yourself a favor: take a basic, introductory geology course or read some good intro books on the subject. Oh, and what does climate have to do with geology? Well, quite a lot, actually. Most of the evidence for past climates and changes in climate and the rate of change of climates is derived from:

Ice core analysis from Greenland and Antarctica. And, deep sea sediment core analysis from oceans everywhere.

Without the above, all you have is the present, which is not enough to base any prediction on.

And that, my friend, is evidence from geology, worldwide…
SW-User
@Thorstormbringer then you should also be familiar with geological timescales -Millions of years, not decades.

And that, my friend, is evidence of human-induced climate change.
@SW-User I could go on and on but I won’t beyond the following: there actually is evidence in the ice cores for instances of rapid climate change and such instances happened before the industrial revolution you probably like to put the blame on. And, instances before the human population had any effect on anything global. I think we are wasting each other’s time here.

@SW-User Anything the US does is a drop in the bucket, as 3rd world nations are doing nothing, supporting coal fired power plants, no pollution controls on vehicles, etc. China is churning out all types of pollution at a rate far greater than any "climate change" policies the US adopts could ever offset.
SW-User
@fanuc2013 I wish you were right, but you’re not. The US is worlds second largest emitter of pollution, and historically are the largest BY FAR. China and India, among others, are also doing far far more than the US in curbing their emissions, but the US, sadly, still has outsize influence in the world; where they lead others follow.

So they are not a drop in the ocean, they are the ocean.
@fanuc2013 Actually, China, the largest emitter of CO2 is getting under control and has leveled off its output. The US, 2nd largest, has slightly reduced CO2 output.
