23 Nobel-winning economists say Harris would be far better than Trump.

I'm just baffled that republicans still coast by on the perception that they're good at economy despite having set up the two largest recessions since the Great Depression. Like, at a certain point, we really need to start pointing out that the core of fiscal conservative ideology is literally a napkin doodle that they've misinterpreted to read "if we cut revenue, it will generate revenue!" and that's why we no longer have functioning schools, and a billionaire that can buy out Twitter as a part of their midlife crisis.

In 20010, Labour lost a UK election because they were seen as having failed on the economy. The Conservative opposition (cynically but effectively) pinned on them the effects of the 2007/08 crash as bad economic management.

It's the same now in America with the Covid rebound. Everyone in the west has had major inflation. In America, it's actually been less than in most places. Though Biden has been blamed for the inflation in America.

The idea that Trump 'built a great economy' is garbage. He just happened to be at the helm during a cyclical upswing. He knows much less about economics than I do and in no way shape or form should I ever be picked to run a country.

People who don't follow politics closely (like swing voters) judge the economic management of a country based on how affluent they are (or feel they are) related to the existing incumbent.

It sucks.

GOPers are renowned for their willful ignorance and denial of facts.

Even the talking heads on the financial networks have quit gushing about trump and his "concepts."
