Was Elon Musk an Illegal Immigrant

[media=https://youtu.be/PXwtnEHsjyk?si=hwBIk9xHevGdi8rK]

Was he an illegal immigrant - after dropping out of the foreign student program from South Africa! How much time lapsed?? He who now stands against illegal immigrants after he's made his billions. Exact time unknown but one week, one month, one year illegal is illegal.

He came to the US via Canada for college (a Ph.D program) and delayed it for 6 months. In that time he got a EB-5 investor green card, and could legally work. What was illegal was working on the side. He is a US citizen now and most he can get is fined for illegal work, as he didn't apply for citizenship off his student visa but rather his residency via his EB-5 investor green card. His EB-5 investor green card was aquired legitimately, as was his naturalization, both without fraud. Most the courts could revoke is a long expired student visa.

Thank you for that history illegal is still illegal.

I'm quite sure he is a citizen now and most likely has been for quite some time - the rich wouldn't allow him not to be and support him.

The courts are not thinking of him.

But I am curious how long was he doing his illegal working activities Washington Post or Reuters indicates four or five years.

Seemingly the point would be he worked here in the states illegally intentionally and he stands against illegal immigrants......

And I am not saying immigrants legal or illegal should be admitted to the states.

Open border means immigrants trying to enter into the United States to become residents and legal citizens and Musk from what I hear is against open borders that's why I asked the questions?
@Learninglife9 The investors in his first company realized he wasn't in the US legally and got him a investors greencard.

US tends not to deport the top paying illegals who PAY TAXES. Carlos Mencia the Comedian used to joke about that alot. The Greencard Elon had bought for him costed between $500,000 to $1,000,000 dollars. It wasn't fradulant.

The situation you are looking for is when it is lying to become a US Citizen (Musk is legalized). That's the only circumstance that a immigration judge can strip US citizenship from someone and deport them, otherwise it is illegal. Musk didn't do that. So most he faces is a fine. A act of congress can strip Musk of his citizenship as well (they control it constitutionally, not the President).

And I agree with you, Musk did bad, I am tired of Canadians sneaking down here and doing illegal work. I'm sure the fine costs a few grand and he should face his day in arbitration with immigration lawyers and pay up, and apologize on twitter.
