So glad I retired before this incompetent administration mandated a vax for military. I know many good men and women forced out only to have this lame admin beg them to come back in because the military is so short now. How hypocritical to kick out those serving while letting unvaxxed run across the border… 🤦♂

@meJess Almost correct.. A vaccine provides A MEASURE of resistance to a vaccine by alerting and strengethening the bodies own response.. That protection depends on the health of the persons own immune system. A vaccine is not a magic bullet that goes around killing germs..😷
@whowasthatmaskedman smallpox, yellow fever MMR etc are vaccines providing immunity by giving the body ‘dead’ virus to develop antibodies for. Covid does not have a vaccine only an immunity booster.
@meJess Dead virus is the classic vaccine, so you are correct..But that doesnt change a word I said. Mass vaccination wipes out a disease by making it virtually impossible for contagion to be carried in the community, because the few people who are still able to catch it never come into contact. Small pox and TB still exist. But the only time we hear about them now is when a group of unvaccinated people show up and it catches in that group..😷
@meJess If that's your discriminant, no vaccine provides 100% protection. Even smallpox, polio, measles vaccines have their own breakthrough cases, so by using that logic we don't have a vaccine for anything lmao.
Reality it, when you have something that turns a disease like SARS into a cold, you have a successful vaccine.
