The last thing in the world the former Joint Chiefs chair wants to be is political. For him to take this step shows the gravity of the situation.

As we inch closer to the election, former Donald Trump appointees are sounding the alarm over the prospect of the Republican nominee’s return to the White House. According to a forthcoming book from veteran journalist Bob Woodward, retired U.S. Army Gen. Mark Milley called Trump “fascist to the core” and “the most dangerous person to this country.”

What former cabinet members or advisors from Trump's first term are currently endorsing his candidacy? And how many have come out in support of Harris, or at least spoken strongly against Trump?

I've seen quite a few presidential elections in my life, and I have never seen one where so many members of a party are not endorsing their candidate and publicly endorsing the opponent.
