More BS from the Kum crowd

More lies from Kum crowd. Gun violence is NOT the number one cause of death for children in America. They get that statement by including 18-19 your olds. Last time I checked 18 and 19 yo are adults..

No one voted against mandatory background checks, they are already mandatory when purchasing a firearm from a licensed dealer. They are NOT required in most states for private sales as they should NOT be.

The 2 nd amendment is just as vital today as it was the day it was ratified. The government has no authority to change or restrict it. It's purpose is to prevent the government from passing any laws , regulations or restrictions
keeping citizens from access to firearms.

You should all respect that when you vote . Our constitution doesn't guarantee that you can live without fear , but it does insure our access to firearms to protect ourselves our family , our property and our country from tyranny and hostile invaders.

Background checks should be required for all gun purchases and transactions, INCLUDING private sales. The firearms are just as deadly no matter the circumstances of the transaction.

Any constitutional provision can be changed or amended according to the process the Constitution itself lays out. The Second Amendment could be changed or amended along with any other.

You should educate yourself by reading the DC v. Heller decision that addresses the limits of the Second Amendment, and ruled that there was a fundamental right to own firearms as an individual. This decision, of course, could be reversed or modified by future Supreme Courts, and is likely to be at some point. And even in that decision, the Court recognized limits on the right, including gun control measures. Read Justice Scalia's majority opinion.
