Dems are whining that Harris made a big mistake picking Walz instead of Josh Shapiro

WRONG Shapiro had zero interest in playing second banana to a loser like Harris. That would have tanked his career. Had Shapiro been at the top of this ticket the dems may have won this election. Shapiro knows he should be at the top of the ticket. He kept his powder dry to be at the top of the ticket in 2028. Vance will be running a the incumbent VP successor to the Trump movement. For the first time in a long time we will have a true discussion of real issues led by two dynamic well spoken individuals. This is what the United States deserves. Not this.

What "dems" are whining?

Josh shapiro would have leaped at the opportunity to run with harris. Thinking otherwise is deluded.
The state of delusion seems to be where you prefer to reside. How many electors are there?
Can you show us a single "Dem" who is "whining" about this? I didn't think so, LOL!!!

I made that clear to you several comments ago Woody. Even David Alexrod among other Obama CNN panelists said it.

You must not have watched CNN and MSNBC last evening. I did. That’s where it came from

@ElwoodBlues
@jackjjackson Can't find a shred of evidence that David Axelrod mentioned Shapiro during or after the debate. But you go ahead and prove me wrong, I dare you!!

The inside take according to Washington journalists is that Shapiro thought he was in a strong position and pushed too hard. He suggested being in effect 'co-president,' and was making policy demands.

Harris didn't want that and went for Walz because he was happy to do whatever she wanted.

Shapiro (though a good orator and from a swing state) is a fairly Conservative democrat. He's in favour of charter schools and slightly more pro Israel than even Biden. He's have been a harder sell to the progressive wing than Walz.

I think the Democrats should be happy with Walz.
@Burnley123 The one other thing that he had going for him was simply being under the age of 75.

You got that right. @PicturesOfABetterTomorrow

Disagree. I reside in PA and wrote at the start of this thread is absolutely accurate. No way would Shapiro lower himself to be second banana to Harris who at best is a fourth banana. @Burnley123

The fact that you're already looking to 2028 tells me you plan on losing. 🤷

Not a chance. Shapiro's strong pro-Israel stance would have decimated the progressive vote.

Walz was easily the best pick.

Now you're just making up ****. If you were paying attention you may have noticed he didn't drop out while she was making her decision.
I'd be willing to bet that Josh Shapiro doesnt befriend school shooters. and if he does, he probably doesnt admit to it on national TV.

Again Shapiro should be at the top of a ticket and was way too smart to get on Harris’s sinking ship. The Dems would be better off with Shapiro nominated from President and anyone. Not named Harris or Walz as the Vo nominee. Shapiro v Vance in 2028. Stay tuned. @YourMomsSecretCrush
