Should The US Pay Off National Debt With Canadian Dollars?

Canadian Dollars are worth less than 75 cents to the US dollar. Should we redominate all US Debt Dollars Canadian Dollars?

If it is a question of not being able to find enough Canadian Dollars, we can always just print them to meet demand.

What difference does it make if the debt is in US dollars or another currency? It would take the same amount of capital to pay it off.

@windinhishair Exactly. As there is indifference on the matter, there is no real reason why not to, no harm done. Canadian dollars it is.

@Dignaga There is no reason to do something that cannot legally be done. It would be foolhardy.
